1. The first real computer I was able to touch and play with, was an Amstrad CPC 6128. It was also the first computer I wanted to buy, but sadly I neved did get one. I changed my mind instantly when I happened to see an Amiga 500 just one day before I was going to buy the Amstrad. It simply blew me away! Still, the first computer I ended up buying was a "Hyundai Super-16V" 8088-1, on which I also had my first steps in programming (GW-BASIC).
I did end up buying the Amiga 500 I saw (and which haunted my dreams for years), a few years later and a few years after that I managed to fulfill my dreams and get my hands on an Amiga 4000. I still have all those computers at home and they're all in functional condition (well, maybe except the 8088-1).

2. I was on a comic-drawing-spree twice in my life. The first time was when I was at the age of about 14 I think. I started drawing my everyday life in a comic series, with stars from my family or simply people I saw and made an impression on my. It was generally a very funny comic and my way of keeping a "diary" of a sort. The second time this happened to me, was during the (obligatory) army service of 18 months. It started out as a means of using my free time more meaningfully, but ended up being a full-blown hilarious comic story with characters from our everyday life in the army. I also improved my sketching skill a lot during that time.
All those comics are scanned and patiently waiting the time I will finally decide to restore and improve them. And then maybe post them somewhere...
3. It is very difficult for me to lie. As one of the things I hate about people, I feel really strange if I try to do it myself. Most of the time, if you ask me a direct question, you'll get a straight answer. The truth no matter what!
Of course, role-playing is whole different story... ;-)
4. I've stolen once in my life. I've felt so bad about it, that I swore never to do it again.
What I stole was a toy from an ice-cream packaging. I was about 12.
5. My nickname comes from the title of a video game called "Midnight Wanderers", which I liked and played during it's time. A friend of mine suggested it for me, at a time we believed we all had to have "nicknames" to put in our computer productions (mini-demos, bootable disks with slideshows, drawings, etc.). I later cut the first 3 letters of each word to make "MidWan", since I though "Midnight Wanderer" was rather long. It simply stuck with me ever since.
Oh dear, and now I'm supposed to pass this ball to some other people. Well, I know of no other blogger who hasn't already been tagged, so if someone's reading this and isn't, well, you just got tagged! Spill the bins!
